The 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid and its corporate sibling the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid have achieved the best rankings for fuel economy in their class.
The ford Fusion Hybrid is a five passenger sedan that gets a whopping 41 miles to the gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway. This beats out the 2010 Toyota Camry by several miles per gallon, as the Camry comes in at 33 miles per gallon in the city and 34 on the highway.
While Toyota’s Prius and Honda’s Insight are tops in the hatchback category, the Fusion and the Milan offer more rear seat passenger space and don’t have the lack of privacy that a hatchback tends to give.
